Last of the snaps from the courts. Well done to winning and runner up QLD teams. It's been an awesome 2 weeks in Canberra. Until all the States meet again in Perth, keep on enjoying the game we love.
Day 4
We're down to the pointy end of the week now - 5 teams got the victory and 1 team remains undefeated. 7 teams are still within contention of getting 1st place or 2nd place.
In Division 2, QLD1 suffered a narrow defeat, as Dan maintains his undefeated streak with yet another 3-0 victory, Jorge went down in 3, and Paul came so close in another 5-setter. QLD2 scored a strong win with Rennelle winning in 3, Subhash winning in 4, and Jake suffered his first defeat of the week, going down in 4 in a tough game. It's still anyone's game in Div 2 as QLD1 and QLD2 are 4 points away from each other and not far from the top 2 teams.
QLD3 continue their dream run in Division 3, notching up yet another win. Gavin set the tone with a win in 4, followed by a nail-biting 5 set win from Ross who also maintains his undefeated streak, and while Cookie also went down in an epic 5-setter, it was enough to secure the victory. Tomorrow they face the other undefeated team in the division (NSW5) so QLD is rooting for you!
QLD4 were unable to get any points in Division 4, as Janelle, Gary and Steve all went down in 3.
QLD5 were able to bounce back to another dominant win in Division 6, with wins for both Ann-Maree and Lee-Ann, and Kathy nearly got the win, going down in a tough 5-setter.
QLD6 also bounced back with a solid win in Division 7, with Melissa finally winning in 3, Dannielle winning in 4, and Marilyn going down in 5. They are still within contention for 2nd place.
QLD7 failed to win a game in Division 8, with Kevin and Andrew going down, and while Helen had the crowd behind her, she also fell short in a close 5-setter. Liz was also borrowed for the day, filling in for WA in Division 7, and unfortunately also went down.
QLD8 had a phenomenal win in Division 10, with Karen and Sharon both winning in 3, and unfortunately Kay went down in 3 after a mild injury in the first game. They have a bye on Friday and are currently in 2nd place, so where they sit is dependant on Friday's results.
QLD9 also had a not so great day in Division 11, with Julie, Robyne and Carole all going down.
QLD10 had a bye today however they are currently in 3rd and still remain in contention for 1st or 2nd for Division 13- good luck to Peter, Patricia and Wendy!
Day 4 Summary:
QLD1 - Div 2 - 38 points - 4th
QLD2 - Div 2 - 42 points - 3rd
QLD3 - Div 3 - 45 points (Undef) - 2nd
QLD4 - Div 4 - 28 points - 5th
QLD5 - Div 6 - 38 points - 3rd
QLD6 - Div 7 - 37 points - 2nd

A few snaps from today. Canberra really turned on the cold weather again for us Queenslanders!
And lastly, congratulations to the team "Pink and Ginger" (Kay G, Ann-Maree, Dannielle, Doug, Jake) for winning Trivia Night at Tumut River Brewing Co!
Day 3
Day 3 saw a lot of challenges for our Queenslanders, as 5 teams got the victory and only 1 team remains undefeated.
In Division 2, QLD1 secured a solid win with Dan and Jorge both winning in 3 and Paul narrowly missing out in a 5-setter. Meanwhile QLD2's winning streak came to an end as Rennelle and Subhash went down in 3 and 4 respectively, however Jake was able to survive an epic 5-setter.
QLD3 remains the sole undefeated team for QLD, providing a strong win in Division 3 with Gavin and Ross winning, and Cookie fought hard going down 20-22 in the 5th!
QLD4 regained a win in Division 4, as Janelle and Gary proved to be victorious with Steve losing his first match.
QLD5's dominance of Division 6 came to an end after Lee-Ann, Ann-Maree and Kathy all went down, however they still remain in contention.
Despite QLD6 all suffering 3-0 losses, Melissa, Dannielle and Marilyn are also still within contention as they are coming 2nd in Division 7.
QLD7 also suffered a defeat in Division 8, with Kevin and Andrew on the losing end, however Liz secured a solid 3-0 win. Helen had a much needed rest day. This time it was Kevin who did double duty, filling in for WA in Division 7 - unfortunately he lost in 4 on that occasion as well.
QLD8 put on a superb display in Division 10 finally getting a win, with Kay G winning in 4, Karen winning in 5, and Sharon getting her first win of the week in 3, with an energetic crowd fully supporting her the whole way.
QLD9 also showed they were still a force to be reckoned with in Division 11, with Robyne and Lee getting wins in 5 and 4 respectively, while Carole only just went down in 4.
Unfortunately QLD10's undefeated streak came to an end in Division 13, going down to the #3 team, however they are still currently 1st in points. Wendy went down, and between Peter and Patricia, the Knauths were able to secure one win.
Day 3 Summary:
QLD1 - Div 2 - 31 points - 3rd
QLD2 - Div 2 - 30 points - 4th
QLD3 - Div 3 - 34 points (Undef) - 2nd
QLD4 - Div 4 - 28 points - 2nd
QLD5 - Div 6 - 24 points - Equal 3rd

What a week it's been so far. So good to see everyone supporting their team and fellow Queenslanders!
Day 2
Another strong day from QLD, with 7 teams getting the victory, and 5 remaining undefeated.
Division 2 saw QLD1 secure the narrowest of wins against the #2 team, as although Dan gave a strong win and both Jorge and Paul lost, they had enough games to tip the team over the line. Meanwhile QLD2 extended their streak with wins from Jake, Rennelle and Subhash.
Division 3's QLD3 continued their streak as well, with wins from Ross and Cookie; unfortunately Gavin was unable to get the win this time.
Division 4's QLD4 did not get the win this time, as Janelle was unable to repeat her ironwoman performance from the previous year and Gary going down, however Steve maintains an undefeated streak of his own.
Division 6's QLD5 also continued their streak, with Ann-Maree and Lee-Ann both securing wins once again and Kathy putting up a fight, going down in 4.
QLD6 secured another narrow victory in Division 6, as Dannielle was able to give a strong win in 3, and with both Melissa and Marilyn going down in marathon 5-setters, they had enough games to keep the streak alive.
Division 8's QLD7 saw their first victory, as although Helen went down in a really close match, the team was able to secure 2 wins between Kevin, Andrew and Liz. Helen also did double duty filling in for WA in Div 7 and again narrowly missed out on the win.
QLD8 still remain winless in Division 10, as Karen, Kay G and Sharon all went down.
QLD9 could not maintain their streak in Division 11 on this occasion, as no wins were secured between Carole, Julie, Robyne and Lee.
Finally, Division 13's QLD10 continued their streak with wins from Peter, Patricia and Wendy.
Day 2 Summary:
QLD1 - Div 2 - 17 points - 4th

Day 1
A very strong start from our Queenslanders, with 7 teams getting the victory!
Division 2 was the only division with 2 QLD teams - and what a way to kick the week off as both teams faced off against each other! Couple Rennelle and Daniel also faced off against each other, with Dan proving too much for Rennelle, getting the win in 3.
Division 3's QLD3 also started the week with a strong win, with Gavin and Ross getting wins for the team. Cookie unfortunately was outplayed on this occasion, going down in 3.

Division 7's QLD6 also started the week off strong, with wins from Dannielle and Marilyn, and Melissa going down in a marathon 5-setter.
Unfortunately Division 8's QLD7 (Andrew, Kevin, Helen, Liz) were unable to get any wins for the Monday, although Andrew went down swinging, going the distance to a 5-setter. Division 10's QLD8 (Karen, Kay G, Sharon) also went down on the first day, however Kay G was able to get a win for the team.
