Day 4
Thank you Sharon Denning for the lovely update from Thursday, and Lee Conroy for the beautiful photos as always.
Day four of the championship was absolutely fantastic to watch. It had very close and even matches.
The following teams had a win today with team QLD4 still undefeated.
QLD3, QLD4 undef, QLD5 undef, QLD6 undef, QLD9, QLD11, QLD12, QLD13 and QLD15 undef.
The Queensland determination continued today. Anthony was doing well chasing down every wall (sorry I meant ball). Anthony's head collided with the wall in the first game and he continued on to win.
There were quite a few long games again today. Janet won the second game 25-23 but unfortunately lost in five with 77 points each. Kevin went down 22-20 in the first, but won the match 15-13 in the fifth.
Brian was down 1-7 in the first game but came back and won 15-13.
Frances had an almighty comeback, being two games down, to win in five.

Day 3
Here's a quick update from Sharon Denning about her quiet Wednesday at the championship, and beautiful photos from Lee Conroy.
The teams in the following divisions are still undefeated as per the draws which haven't been updated. More to follow, maybe in tomorrow's update.
QLD4 and QLD5 had a great day receiving maximum points to remaining undefeated.
QLD15 remained undefeated.
QLD6, QLD7, QLD10 and QLD13 had wins.
The big news for the day, even though Janelle has been winning her squash, she is losing everything else. 😉 Yesterday she managed to lose one of her home made cakes and her glasses. She wouldn't mind getting her glasses back but is not worried about finding the cake. 😀

Day 2
Thank you Lee Conroy for these excellent photos from Tuesday, and Sharon Denning for the lovely daily update.
Congratulations Helen for putting your hand up for Vice President of AMSA.
Day 2 of teams continued with a lot of determination today. The following teams had wins:
QLD4 15 points, undefeated
QLD4 11 points, undefeated
QLD6 10 points, undefeated
QLD11 10 points
QLD14 16 points
QLD15 12 points, undefeated
Roger must be missing his wife, discussion this morning was how to get four days from a pair of underwear. 😂
Dale had a mammoth match, he went down in the second game 18-20, came back to win the third 20-18, losing overall in four.
Not to be out done by her husband Dale, Julie showed as much determination to win her match in three with the third game 22-20.
It must have been the day for long games, Carol won her first game 22-20.
Janelle had the fighting spirit to win her match despite being down 2-7 in both fourth and fifth games to win both in 15-13.
Jake decided that he was running every ball down today, even if there was a wall in the way. It probably wasn't the wisest to head butt the wall though.
Not to be out done, Keith dove for the ball to hit a winning shot.
Lester fought well to go down with 14-16 in the fifth.

Day 1
Here is Monday's highlights from Sharon Denning and photos from Lee Conroy.
The fun of the teams championship started today with great comradeship with fellow QMSA members cheering on each other. The week started off well with wins from the following teams:
QLD2 Div 2 14 points
QLD3 Div 3 11 points
QLD4 Div 4 16 points
QLD5 Div 5 14 points
QLD6 Div 6 12 points
QLD9 Div 9 14 points
QLD13 Div 12 9 points
(Results for Div 1 and Div 14 not recorded)
Well done to Karen for playing in her first Masters 🤩 unfortunately today was a loss in 5.
As hard as Keith tried to lose a point, his first game this morning was 15-0, and we were all unfortunate his opponent didn't keep their pants. 🙈
It should be Peter Z, Roger and Peter V shout on Friday for not wearing team shirt/shorts. 🤣
Brian managed a great comeback, from down 2 games to win in 5, to give the team a win for the day.
